Job description
English Teacher - Hillingdon

Veritas Education are currently looking to recruit an exceptional English Teacher on behalf of a prestigious independent secondary school partner based in Hillingdon. This is starting ASAP in an Outstanding, rated school where staff and pupils work collaboratively to make sure there is an inclusive learning environment for all.

This specific secondary school are open to taking on teachers with or without QTS and dependent on experience. The school also caters for the needs of ECT's who are looking for expanded training and support to reach qualified teacher status.

You will be required to complete the planning, delivering and marking of your lessons in accordance with the high academic requirements of the students. The School in Hillingdon provides further training, opportunities for promotions and career progression.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified/ ECT's or Unqualified Opportunities are welcome to apply
  • Experience teaching English across key stage 3 & 4 is preferred
  • High level of subject knowledge
  • Strong classroom presence and understanding of behaviour management
  • Enthusiastic and passionate attitude to teaching
  • Experience with planning lessons and marking
