Outstanding Secondary School in Hounslow

Located in the heart of Hounslow, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a English Teacher / English ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious English Teacher / English ECT eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school invests heavily in education, implementing innovative teaching practices and training both new and existing staff. It is an exciting time to join!

Experienced teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will participate in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and work alongside both young and experienced secondary teachers.

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
• Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work effectively within a large team of secondary teachers
• Willingness to accept feedback and develop professionally
