In the heart of Islington, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is looking for an English Teacher / English ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is seeking an ambitious English Teacher / English ECT who is eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school invests heavily in education, pioneering new teaching practices and training both new and existing staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced secondary teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and will work alongside a range of both young and experienced secondary teachers.

Person Specification

4. Ability to work as part of a large team of secondary teachers
5. Willingness to accept feedback
