Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal candidate will inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a qualified English Teacher status.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the curriculum.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
  • Develop students' analytical and creative writing skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead English-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
  • Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
