About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated English Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team at a school with an Ofsted 'Good' rating. As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students across KS3 to KS5, fostering a love for literature, language, and critical thinking. You will play a key role in developing students’ analytical and creative writing skills, as well as their confidence in communication and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking English lessons to students from KS3 to KS5, encouraging a passion for reading, writing, and discussion.
  • Guide students in critical analysis of literature, developing their ability to interpret and evaluate a range of texts.
  • Support students in developing their creative writing and essay-writing skills, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident expressing their ideas and interpretations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum, sharing ideas for improvement and innovation.
  • Take an active role in extracurricular activities, such as debating clubs, creative writing workshops, and theatre productions.
