An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon requires a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their highly successful English department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). The school is deeply committed to fostering high standards of literacy and achieving excellent student progress.

Responsibilities:

The appointed English Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum and inspire a love of language and literature. You will be responsible for developing students' core literacy skills – reading, writing, speaking, and listening – across a range of texts and genres. Assessing student progress accurately, providing effective feedback, and collaborating with colleagues within the English team are key expectations for this English Teacher role. Requirements:
