English Secondary Teacher – Auckland, New Zealand

Start date: January 2025

Prospero Teaching is working alongside a Secondary school in Auckland, who are looking for a Registered English Teacher. The position commences at the start of Term 1, January 2025 and will be a permanent role. The role will involve teaching from Grades 8-12. The school offers an engaging learning environment and supportive team, which enables an enjoyable working and learning environment. They are looking for a personable, engaging and committed teacher who will immerse themselves into life at the school. The school is happy to consider teachers of all experience levels.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or Master of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
2. Be eligible to work and teach in New Zealand
3. Received or in the process of applying for a NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
4. Received or in the process of registering for EC15 (Education Council)
5. Be willing to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
6. Be able to offer two professional teaching references covering the last two years
