Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Monitor and assess student progress in line with school and national expectations
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities
Work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies when needed
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - ECTs are encouraged to apply
A genuine passion for teaching English and developing literacy
Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour and achievement
A commitment to ongoing professional development
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind)
