Job description

CER is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of English to join a dedicated and supportive team in the West Kirkby area. You will teach English across various contexts, classes, and year groups, including examination classes up to A Level, starting September 2025.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging English lessons to students of different ages and abilities.
2. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
3. Support students in reaching their full potential and achieving at the highest levels.

Essential Criteria

• Evidence of QTS
• Education reference
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check

This school provides a caring and safe environment for all students and staff.

The school is within a 10-minute walk of the nearest station and offers onsite parking for staff.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:20 am – 3:20 pm during term time
