This schoolis seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a successful English department for the 2025–2026 academic year in September 2025.. This is an excellent opportunity to teach a subject that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills in young people.

Duties as English Teacher:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available if suitable).

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all students.

• Mark and assess student work in line with department and school policies.

• Track progress and provide effective feedback and interventions to support pupil achievement.

• Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular literacy activities.

• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.

Ideal English Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with strong subject knowledge in English.

• A confident and reflective practitioner with a passion for English education.

• Someone with strong communication skills and high expectations for student behaviour and achievement as an English Teacher.
