Duties as an English Teacher:

Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that stretch and challenge all learners.

Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies.

Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and wider school initiatives.

Take part in enrichment activities and school life, including parents’ evenings and extra-curricular clubs.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A degree in English or a related subject.

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English Language and Literature.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an English Teacher.

A commitment to high expectations and raising student achievement.

A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching and professional development.
