Overview

English Teacher needed for an SEMH Provision. TLTP are looking for a qualified English teacher to work full-time at an SEMH Alternative Provision.

The ideal candidate would have experience of working with secondary KS3/KS4 pupils with social emotional and mental health needs.

The setting is a specialist provision based in Northwest London. This provision teaches pupils in KS3 & KS4 who are unable to attend their mainstream school due to their behavioural challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging English teaching to KS3/KS4 pupils within an SEMH provision
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support access to the curriculum
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic and nurturing learning environment
Requirements / Qualifications
  • QTS or QTLS
  • Committed to the development of both yourself and the pupils
  • Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom team
  • Understanding and commitment to safeguarding children
