Overview

English Teacher, Bristol

We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Bristol City Centre.

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bristol are looking for a full time English teacher to join their school in October 2025. This is a long term placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the English department; As part of this role will teach up to A Level across English Language and literature and be responsible for participating in team planning.

Daily rate of pay will start at 145 and can increase to 223, for more experienced teachers with UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status.

UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.

Job responsibilities

• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils
