Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Aspire People are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students and foster a love for English literature and language.

The Role:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  2. Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support development.
  3. Use innovative teaching methods to bring literature and language to life.
  4. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  5. Work collaboratively with the English department and contribute to wider school initiatives.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  2. Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum (KS5 experience is desirable).
  3. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  4. Passion for literature, language, and inspiring young minds.
  5. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
