English Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a local school in Chesterfield. You will work closely with students 1:1 and small group support to ensure they can fully engage with their education. The school is looking for an immediate start for the right candidate and is potentially a long term role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing engaging and structured lessons that align with the national curriculum.
2. Teach literature, language, and writing skills to students aged 11-16.
3. Use a variety of teaching methods (discussions, group work, digital tools) to engage students.
4. Collaborate with teaching staff and other support workers to promote an inclusive learning environment.
5. Encourage and support students to build confidence and achieve their full potential.

What We re Looking For:

1. QTS qualification
2. Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (preferred).
3. A genuine passion for supporting students.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. The ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners and build positive relationships.
6. Maintaining discipline and fostering a positive learning environment.
