Job summary

Prospero Teaching in the United Kingdom has partnered with a secondary school in Woking to recruit an English Teacher for a temporary period from 1 November 2026 through to Easter. The role is full-time, with hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm and pay to scale based on experience.

Contract Details

• Location: Woking
• Position: English Teacher
• Start Date: 1 November 2026
• Contract Type: Temporary - until Easter
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (school hours may vary)
• Pay: Pay to Scale (dependent on experience)
• Schedule: Full-time

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to supporting students of all abilities

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

• Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
