An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in East Norfolk. This full-time role is available for an immediate start and will run until the end of the academic year in July 2025. If you’re passionate about English and inspiring young learners, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and school activities.
• Support the wider pastoral and academic development of students.

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) preferred, but strong unqualified teachers with experience will be considered.
• Experience teaching English at KS3/KS4 level.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion for literature, language and learning.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Supportive and welcoming staff team in a well-regarded school.
