Protocol Education is recruiting an English Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in North Shields. This full-time, long-term role offers immediate and January starts, with PAYE daily rates of £163.19–£265.12 and dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.

The school combines high expectations with strong pastoral care, providing an environment where students develop reading, writing and communication skills and confidence in learning.

Qualificações

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.

• Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication.
• Plan and deliver ambitious lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Monitor progress and use assessment effectively to drive achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop high-quality teaching and learning.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
