Join Teaching Personnel as an English Tutor – Inspire Confidence and Achievement

Are you passionate about helping students unlock their potential in English? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to deliver high-quality tuition at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in learners' lives—whether in-person or online.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored English lessons

  • Support students in reaching their Functional Skills or GCSE goals

  • Adapt your teaching to suit various learning styles and abilities

  • Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

  • Help build students’ confidence, motivation, and independent study habits

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring English at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred

  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
