Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced English Tutor to deliver quality tuition at Functional Skills and GCSE levels. The successful candidate will be pivotal in enhancing students' literacy, exam skills, and confidence through tailored teaching approaches. Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Tutor to deliver high-quality tuition at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support learners in improving their literacy, developing exam skills, and building confidence for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English tuition tailored to the individual needs of each learner
Support students in achieving their Functional Skills or GCSE targets
Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning styles and abilities
Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Foster motivation, confidence, and independent learning skills
Requirements:
Experience teaching or tutoring English (Functional Skills and/or GCSE level)
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred
Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
