• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track as an ECT

• Be confident in delivering engaging English lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a real enthusiasm for English literature and language

• Have strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusive education

• Be a team player with a proactive and positive approach to teaching
