Job description

ENGLISH TEACHER NEEDED

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of one of our client mainstream secondary schools in Maidenhead. We are currently looking for a fully qualified English teacher for a full-time, temporary role, from September until the end of October 2025. If you are an Experienced Teacher or an ECT we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and who will look to build positive relationships with both staff and students. They will also need to provide a high-quality teaching experience to encourage and nurture the student’s educational attainment.

Successful candidates will be taking on full departmental responsibilities including planning and marking. You will be required to teach English Language and English Literature up to KS5.

About the Role

  • Role commences September 2025 until the end of October 2025.
  • Hold QTS/ECT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • Temporary, Full-Time post
  • Have previous experience teaching English Language and Literature at a KS5 level.
  • Have excellent classroom management.
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Residing in the UK or have a UK address you are moving to in the near future to comply with the DBS requirements
