Job Opportunity: English Teacher in Tower Hamlets

In the heart of Tower Hamlets, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking an English Teacher to start in September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious English Teacher eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

Person Specification

• UK QTS or in the process of obtaining it
• Strong academic record: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work effectively within a large team of secondary teachers
• Willingness to accept feedback
