Location: North London
Salary: £150 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join secondary schools across North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to inspire young minds and help students develop a lifelong love for literature and language.

As an English Teacher, you ll play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons that ignite curiosity, improve literacy, and prepare students for academic success. If you are enthusiastic about English education and confident in classroom delivery, we want to hear from you!

What the Role Will Involve:

• Planning and delivering English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).

• Inspiring students through creative approaches to both classic and modern texts.

• Supporting students with varying levels of ability to achieve their potential in reading, writing, and speaking.

• Preparing pupils for GCSE assessments and promoting strong exam performance.

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Managing classroom behaviour and following school policies consistently.

Who We Are Looking For:

• A qualified English Teacher with QTS or equivalent certification.

• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.

• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

• A commitment to inclusive education and student development.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

• Two references and eligibility to work in the UK.
