Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Liverpool and Knowsley, Merseyside
Pay: £100 - £160 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Flexible Supply (Perm, Short-term, Long-term placements available)
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to join our supply network for secondary schools across Liverpool and Knowsley. Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced educator, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 students while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Engage students in literature, language, and writing tasks

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Specialism or strong background in English

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)

  • A genuine passion for English and education

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
