Job summary

Supply Desk are seeking an English Teacher for a school in Leighton Buzzard. The role is full time, temporary to permanent, starting November 2026, with a salary of £29,344–£44,919 per year.

You will deliver engaging English lessons, plan curricula aligned with core objectives, and support diverse learners while promoting a positive, inclusive classroom environment. QTS or proven English teaching experience is required.

The ideal candidate:

• QTS or Proven experience in teaching English Language Arts at the desired grade level(s)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students
• Skill in using various instructional techniques to cater to diverse learning styles
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Passion for promoting students' appreciation for literature and language
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage classroom activities effectively
