GSL Education are seeking an English Teacher to work in a friendly school in Hull, starting immediately. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for day-to-day supply or long-term placements, and can be full-time or part-time depending on your availability.

Key Responsibilities for the English Teacher role
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across all Key Stages.
  • Inspire students to develop their skills in reading, writing, and critical analysis.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support academic development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities where possible.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • QTS, ECT status, or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in English with strong subject knowledge.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for raising student attainment and fostering a love of English.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
