TP Tutors is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to support local secondary school students as they prepare for their GCSE English exams. If you have a strong background in English and a passion for helping students thrive, we'd love to hear from you.

Position: GCSE English Tutor
Location: Hucknall, Nottinghamshire (in-person and remote options available)

As an English Tutor, you'll provide focused, personalised support to secondary school students, helping them grow in confidence and deepen their understanding of English Language and Literature. Through engaging and accessible teaching methods, you'll guide students toward exam success.

• Deliver one-to-one or small group sessions tailored to each student's needs

• Support development in reading, writing, and analytical thinking

• Simplify complex texts and exam strategies in an approachable way

• Offer regular progress updates to parents and schools

• Experience tutoring or teaching GCSE English Language and/or Literature

• A confident and engaging teaching style

• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

• A degree in English or Education is desirable, but not essential

• Dependability, patience, and a commitment to helping students succeed
