About the role

The school is looking for a Teacher of English to join the successful English department, supporting pupils with their learning in both English literature and English language. As a Teacher of English at the school you will be responsible for:

• Teach across both KS3 and KS4 English Lessons
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children within the school
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the students within the class as well as have a form group
• Plan, mark and deliver lessons
• Work on a full-Time basis

Am I suitable?
The successful candidate for the Teacher of English position will have to have:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• ECT applications also welcomed
• Degree or Higher in relevant field
• At least 1 year teaching experience to Secondary age pupils
• Unqualified Teacher applications will be considered if the candidate can showcase a vast experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level English
