Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of English looking for a new role in south Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented English teacher to join a successful secondary academy in Trafford.

This is a full-time long-term supply teacher role from October 2025 to July 2026.

The Role

Teacher of English Language and Literature to GCSE, five days a week.

Positive, confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning are required.

The ideal candidate will be an innovative teacher able to inspire with their excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English literature and language.

The School

The school is an oversubscribed secondary academy for girls, rated Ofsted Good in November 2023.

Students' behaviour is good, and they are polite, friendly, and respectful towards adults and each other.

The school offers a very supportive environment for trainee teachers and early career teachers and is easily accessible on public transport routes or by car.

Requirements
