Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a community school in Tameside?

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a flexible and innovative English Teacher to join a large community secondary school starting September 2025, for at least one term. This is a full-time, long-term role paying up to £223 a day.

Requirements

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references checks
• Provide a CV with full employment/education history and explanations for any employment gaps
• Have the legal right to work in the UK

Role Details

The role involves delivering English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. The department has a history of improving GCSE results year on year. Successful candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective.
