Job description

Looking for a teaching role where you can make a real difference? We’re recruiting for an English Teacher to join a small but passionate team supporting young learners at HMYOI Feltham.

You’ll be teaching accredited English qualifications (Entry Level to Level 3), helping learners develop their literacy skills, self-confidence, and a sense of achievement. Working with small groups, you’ll have the space to build meaningful connections and deliver tailored, engaging lessons.

Alongside teaching, you’ll be involved in lesson planning, learner progress reviews, and collaborating with a supportive multi-agency team. There’s also the chance to help shape the curriculum and make your mark on how education is delivered.

You’ll need to be qualified to teach English (PGCE, QTS, QTLS or equivalent). Experience working in secure settings is welcomed but not essential—we’re looking for someone who cares, connects, and inspires.

Rewarding You…

You’ll benefit from 40 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), a healthcare cash plan (get up to £80/year back on dental and optical care), a matched pension scheme (4–6%), life assurance at 3x salary, and organisational sick pay. It’s a rewarding role in every sense.
