Job description

My mainstream client based in Gloucester is actively seeking an English Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate is energetic and enthusiastic, with a strong subject knowledge. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting students and ensuring they receive high-quality education. You will handle full planning and marking responsibilities across Key Stages 3 to 5, guiding students of varying academic abilities through the GCSE curriculum and a popular A-level subject.

The School:

You will join a leading department composed of supportive and knowledgeable subject specialists. This is a great opportunity for ECTs to benefit from the school's comprehensive ECT programme, as well as for experienced teachers seeking a welcoming environment. The position offers a salary ranging from £31,650 to £49,084 per annum, depending on experience.
