Job summary

TISCA is offering an exciting opportunity to teach English at one of the UK’s leading Prep Schools. The new hire will passionately instruct pupils in Years 5 to 8, preparing them for Common Entrance and beyond. As a Form Tutor, you will oversee a group of pupils while also being involved in extracurricular activities, potentially including sports.

The successful applicant will have outstanding knowledge of the English subject, with a strong ambition to prepare students for senior school life. Your inspirational teaching style will greatly contribute to the school's nurturing environment.

• Outstanding subject knowledge in English.
• Proven record of preparing children for senior school.
• Ability to teach multiple subjects.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to Cothill pupils in Years 5-8.
• Be a Form Tutor, overseeing a group of pupils.
• Carry out duties in line with other teaching staff.
• Be involved in the wider life of the school, ideally including Sport.
• Fulfill wider responsibilities as determined by the leadership team.

The successful applicant will be an English specialist with an outstanding subject knowledge and a proven record of, or ambition for, preparing children for senior school life. With a passion for classroom teaching and an ability to teach multiple subjects, he/she will be inspirational in both their teaching and their manner outside of the classroom.

• Teach English to Cothill pupils in Years 5-8 preparing them for Common Entrance and beyond.

• Carry out duties in line with other teaching staff.
• Be involved in the wider life of the school, ideally including Sport.
