TEACHER OF ENGLISH

Pay Range: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale

Actual Salary from: £31,650 - £49,084 (M1 - U3)

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Key Responsibilities

1. Be fully qualified to teach through the secondary range for Key Stages 3 & 4.
2. Demonstrate enthusiasm for the subject to inspire student progress.
3. Design engaging and adapted learning materials.
4. Use IT effectively to plan and teach lessons.
5. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (suitable for ECTs).
6. Teach lessons that challenge all students.
7. Show a passion for teaching and making a difference to young people.
8. Commit to safeguarding and child protection.
