We are seeking a knowledgeable, dynamic and passionate teacher to join our English teaching team. The role is permanent full time, teaching a range of classes across Y7–13, commencing on 28 January 2026.

Do you have the ability to foster successful learning relationships and a thorough understanding of responsive practice in the English classroom? Would you like to teach in a supportive and exceptionally well-resourced kura with motivated students who are eager to learn?

You will be:

  • Committed to honouring Te Tiriti and embedding Mātauranga Māori into your English learning environment
  • A teacher who has high expectations of teaching and learning
  • Committed to embedding literacy practices
  • Either experienced in the delivery of English learning or starting your career in the delivery of English learning
  • Adept at designing and executing Universal Design for Learning/differentiated learning
  • Confident using technologies to enhance learning experiences
  • Conscientious towards student wellbeing
  • A teacher with strong organisational skills
  • Aligned with our values of Respect, Aroha, Endeavour and Enthusiasm, Generosity and Integrity
