This schoolis looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a high-performing and creative English department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a real impact on student progress and enjoyment of literature and language. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an English Teacher:

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire.

  • Supporting student progress through effective feedback and assessment.

  • Contributing to the development of curriculum and enrichment activities.

  • Playing an active role in the wider life of the school.

Ideal English Teacher:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has a genuine passion for English.

  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom practice.

  • Has high expectations of all students and a commitment to achievement as a English Teacher.

  • Is innovative, reflective, and eager to contribute to department initiatives.
