English Teacher – Inspire a Love of Language and Literature

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking to make a difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our teaching team and help students develop confidence and skill in reading, writing, and communication.

Position: English Teacher
Working Hours: Full-time
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Burnham on crouch

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that support students across a range of abilities. You will foster a love of literature, develop students’ writing skills, and build their confidence in expressing themselves clearly and creatively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature across the relevant key stages
• Develop dynamic and differentiated lesson plans to meet student needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering targeted support and feedback
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
