Your new role

Are you passionate about teaching English? We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of English Language and Literature. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English across key stages 3-5 and the ability to teach Drama at KS3, with KS4 experience being an advantage. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Teach English Language and Literature across key stages 3-5.
  • The ability to teach Drama at KS3, with KS4 experience as an advantage.
  • Ensure excellent student progress for students of all abilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Communication Faculty and the Performing Arts team.
