Role: English Teacher - 2 days a week

Contract: July 2026

Location: Secondary school - Amersham - Buckinghamshire

Are you a qualified English Teacher or English Specialist looking for a long-term contract after the October Half term? with a wonderful secondary school based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire?

Academics Ltd are working with a 'Good' school in Buckinghamshire who are looking to appoint an English Teacher to join them from October half term for 2 days a week teaching and delivering English. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) or an English Specialist who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.

This is also a great opportunity for someone who is looking to go down the teaching route.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS
  • Experience with online teaching platforms
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
