Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking passionate English Supply Teachers to join our team in Southampton. Available roles include full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. You will deliver engaging lessons to secondary school students, maintaining their progress and providing continuity in learning. We welcome experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers eager to develop their skills while working in diverse school environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and/or KS4 is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Experience in delivering pre-planned lessons.

The School and Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable English Supply Teachers to support a variety of secondary schools across Southampton and nearby areas. Whether you’re seeking full-time consistency, flexible part-time hours, or day-to-day cover, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be delivering engaging, pre-planned English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, helping maintain learning continuity and pupil progress. This role is perfect for experienced English teachers and ECTs looking to develop their classroom practice across a range of school environments.

Requirements
The desired teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A degree in English or a related subject

Experience teaching English at KS3 and/or KS4

A passion for literacy and pupil progress

The ability to quickly build rapport and work collaboratively
