This includes the ability to design fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons that cater to different age groups and learning styles. Role Description

This is a remote, contract-based position for an English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutor. You will be responsible for teaching English to international students via virtual classes, with a strong focus on children between the ages of 8 and 15. You will need to create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's age, language level, and individual needs.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Conducting interactive and child-friendly online lessons
  • Designing creative and age-appropriate lesson plans
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Providing regular, supportive feedback to students and parents
  • Maintaining a positive, motivating online learning environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching English to children in an online or classroom setting

  • Patience, creativity, and strong classroom management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with child-focused teaching methodologies (e.g., TPR, phonics, play-based learning)
  • TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, remote teaching schedule
