Location: Small Heath

Hours: Monday to Friday 5:00pm - 7:00pm; Saturday & Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm

Contract Type: Part-Time, Ongoing

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Academics is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established SEN Centre seeking a committed English and Science Teacher to join their supportive team immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by teaching English and Science to students ranging from Year 5 to Sixth Form, in a supportive and specialist setting. You will be delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to small groups, helping students achieve their academic goals and develop confidence in their learning.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Science.
  • Differentiate content to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Support students with various SEN including ASD, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Work closely with the centre's team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEN students (essential).
  • Strong subject knowledge in English and Science.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends, as per the schedule.
