Job summary

National Horseracing College is seeking an English Lecturer to deliver quality English and Maths tuition at its Doncaster area campus. You will join a small, supportive team in an environment known for its industry focus in racing and equine sectors.

The role requires PGCE/DTTLS/Level 5 DET, A‑Level English and Maths GCSE, with QTS/QTLS status preferred. Fixed term for 40 weeks, 37 hours per week, offering a contributory pension and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold an initial teaching qualification (PGCE, DTTLS or Level 5 DET).
• A-Level English (or equivalent) and GCSE Maths (or equivalent) are required.
• QTS or QTLS status and experience teaching Functional Skills are desirable.
• Willingness to work with young people and manage challenging behaviours.
