Prospero Teaching is seeking English, Maths, and Science Tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students currently without school placements.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for those wanting to step away from traditional classroom teaching and make a difference for disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. The tutor will create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education, aiming to improve engagement and attainment.

Our mission at Prospero Teaching is to enhance educational support for vulnerable young people in the UK. We seek English, Maths, and Science Tutors eager to work with children with diverse learning needs, employing creative, flexible, and holistic approaches to improve their educational outcomes.

• Location: within the community or pupils' homes
• Position: English, Maths, and Science Tutor
• Type: Contract
• Duration: until the pupil reintegrates into a new school
• End date: ongoing
• Contract type: temporary
• Part-time (15 hours per week per student)
• Minimum pay: £27+ per hour
• Hours: flexible, depending on family schedules

Qualifications and Experience:
