Job summary

Kirklees College invites applications for a Lecturer in English based at our Dewsbury sites. You will deliver English to a diverse range of learners, using digital resources to ensure a high quality and relevant learning experience.

Your key duties include delivering the curriculum, managing syllabuses and records, maintaining registers and assessment records, ensuring Initial Assessments and ILPs, contributing to curriculum development, and upholding safeguarding and health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with learners of varying abilities.
• Experience engaging and motivating students in English.
• Familiarity with Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA) practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English curriculum across centres with digital resources.
• Maintain course organisation, syllabuses and records.
• Manage enrolment, initial assessments and ILPs.
• Monitor, assess and contribute to quality improvement.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety policies and college values.
