English Instructor - Wellingborough
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time - Long-Term (Potential to Become Permanent)
Salary: 100- 160 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate English graduate or experienced instructor looking to inspire secondary students?
Do you want to deliver engaging English lessons and support pupils' progress-even if you don't yet hold QTS?

We are currently working with several secondary schools in the Wellingborough area who are looking to appoint enthusiastic English Instructors for the new academic year. These full-time positions are perfect for individuals with strong subject knowledge and classroom experience who are ready to step into a teaching role.



The Role:

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, using school-planned schemes of work

  • Support students in developing core skills in reading, writing, grammar, and communication

  • Modify delivery to suit different learning abilities and classroom dynamics

  • Manage behaviour effectively to create a focused, respectful learning environment

  • Contribute to the assessment of student progress and provide feedback

  • Work closely with teaching staff and department leads to maintain high standards



What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in English or a related discipline

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school, tutoring, or delivering lessons is highly desirable

  • Strong command of written and spoken English

  • Confident classroom presence and ability to engage a wide range of learners
