We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a variety of welcoming and inclusive primary and secondary schools in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers or education professionals to build experience and develop key skills.
About the Role:
As an English Graduate TA, you’ll support students across Key Stages 2-4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), helping to improve literacy, reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions and raise achievement levels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the delivery of engaging English lessons
· Work one-to-one or with small groups to boost student literacy and comprehension
· Assist students with SEN or EAL needs
· Help prepare resources and support classroom management
· Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
· A recent English graduate (2:1 or above preferred)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· A keen interest in teaching or educational careers
· Patient, adaptable, and proactive
· Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
