Northern Leaders Trust is seeking an experienced English leader to drive excellence in teaching and learning across KS3–KS5. You will model exemplary practice, lead targeted interventions, and support colleagues to raise attainment in GCSE and A‑level outcomes.

You will work with Directors and Heads of Department to identify staff development needs, design effective CPD, and shape the curriculum to close gaps while keeping pace with national developments in the subject area.

Responsabilidades

• Improve GCSE/A‑level outcomes through targeted interventions across KS4–KS5.
• Model high‑quality teaching and create teaching materials to support practice.
• Provide mentoring/coaching to teachers with 1‑to‑1 support to raise practice.
• Collaborate with the Director and Heads of Department to design staff development.
• Deliver CPD to develop pedagogy within the English department.
• Keep up‑to‑date with national developments in English teaching and pedagogy.
• Strategically shape the KS3 curriculum to close gaps highlighted by KS4 outcomes.
• Adapt lessons to address emerging needs in the classroom.
