Your Role as an English ECT
As an English ECT, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging, and creative English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring every learner is supported and challenged.
- Collaborating with your mentor and the wider department, participating in regular training sessions to continually develop your teaching practice.
- Encouraging a love of English literature and language, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.
- Contributing to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school, further enhancing the student experience.
